View Followers
The Followers module provides a simple Friends facility for ExpressionEngine 1.6.
The module allows members to follow other members. A logged-in member can view lists of other available members and can choose to Follow (or ‘un-Follow’) them. Members can view who they are following, who is following them, and who other members are following. Members can receive an email notification when a user starts to follow them.
Following can be thought of a as a one-way friendship. It is up to the other member whether they choose to follow someone in return. There is currently no mechanism for members to block or not allow people to follow them.
Installation
- Copy the contents of the language folder to system/languages/english
- Copy the ajw_followers folder in the module folder to system/modules
In the Control Panel:
- Install the module
