I have just tried to go live with the site and there is a problem with the passwords. I went looking for the documentation that I thought was in the module section. When I clicked, it was not there. It took me to this site. What i am looking for is this. I can’t remember what happens if one leaves the password field blank. Or, since I can’t recall and can’t recreate this, if I added a default password, what would happen…and if that’s even possible. I hope this makes sense and if not, perhaps I can get the documentation for this.
Many thanks,
Carole Carter

Could you say something about availability for EE 2.0?

Thanks!

Member Import Problem tag:brandnewbox.co.uk,2010:forums/viewthread/.49 2010-02-25T06:47:13Z Geoff Towle I’m trying to use Member Import.  I have Username, Email, Screen name columns.  When I get to Check Details everything looks fine, but when I get to Map Member Fields, my options for the three colums are “none” and “——”

The file is a CSV.

What might I be doing wrong?  thanks.

Geoff

Member Import tag:brandnewbox.co.uk,2010:forums/viewthread/.45 2010-02-16T11:06:24Z dale. Hi Andrew,

I’ve had an issue while doing my final import with the Member Import utility.

I formatted my CSV file as tab delimited with no encloser.

All the columns that started with a TAB character then immediately followed by an “É” had the “É” removed once imported.

Every other instance of accented characters ended up being OK.

Do you know what could have caused this?

Thanks

dale.
