      <description>&lt;p&gt;Hello, A few months ago I used the AJW Member Import utility and I thought it had gone well except for a few bad records. I have just tried to go live with the site and there is a problem with the passwords. I went looking for the documentation that I thought was in the module section. When I clicked, it was not there. It took me to this site. What i am looking for is this. I can&#8217;t remember what happens if one leaves the password field blank. Or, since I can&#8217;t recall and can&#8217;t recreate this, if I added a default password, what would happen&#8230;and if that&#8217;s even possible. I hope this makes sense and if not, perhaps I can get the documentation for this.&lt;br /&gt;

      <title>Member Import Problem</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;I&#8217;m trying to use Member Import.&amp;nbsp; I have Username, Email, Screen name columns.&amp;nbsp; When I get to Check Details everything looks fine, but when I get to Map Member Fields, my options for the three colums are &#8220;none&#8221; and &#8220;&#8212;&#8212;&#8221;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The file is a CSV.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I&#8217;ve had an issue while doing my final import with the Member Import utility.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I formatted my CSV file as tab delimited with no encloser.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;All the columns that started with a TAB character then immediately followed by an &#8220;É&#8221; had the &#8220;É&#8221; removed once imported.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Every other instance of accented characters ended up being OK.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Do you know what could have caused this?&lt;/p&gt;
