Last week I was able to do a test run importing 75,000 entries in four separate chunks, took maybe 2-3 hours.  Today I’m repeating the same process, but it is going much more slowly.  Granted there are other things happening on the server (it’s a dedicated box but we’ve got several sites there), but are there any gotchas with regard to performance to be aware of?  Any benchmarks?
